CAR RENTAL USER REQUIREMENTS

MyKad/iKad/Passport

    • Valid Domestic or International Driver’s License
    •   Latest Statement Bill (Credit card, utilities, Internet, etc.)

Pay by Online Transfer / Debit / E-Wallet / Paypal:

      • MyKad/iKad/Passport
      • Valid Domestic or International Driver’s License
      • Business/Work Card/Student I.D
      • Latest Statement Bill (Credit card, utilities, Internet, etc.)

Pay by Credit Card:

    • MyKad/iKad/Passport  Valid Domestic or International Driver’s License
    • Credit card customers are not required to submit business cards or utility bills.

Non-Eligible:

Expired license, fake or lack of documents, suspicious behavior, criminal records, etc.

VEHICLE USAGE & TRAVEL POLICY

Only the person and the additional drivers stated in the contract can drive the rental car, and renters are not allowed to let any third-parties to use the rental car without the company’s consent and authorisation.

Usage Policy:

  • NO TO DRUGS, ALCOHOL, CAR THEFT, SWAP/SELLING CAR INTERNAL PARTS, IRRESPONSIBLE ATTITUDE & OTHER CRIME ACTS (ESCORT, ROBBING/SNATCH THIEF, KIDNAPPING, DRUG RUNS ETC) - You will face real & serious consequences from the top management and the PDRM (Polis Diraja Malaysia). We will ensure that you will be taken into custody and sued immediately. NON-NEGOTIABLE
  • NO SMOKING - RM200.00 PENALTY
  • NO RACING, SPEED TESTING, OFFROAD
  • DRIVE RESPONSIBLY & OBEY THE LAW
  • DO NOT DIRTY/DAMAGE THE VEHICLE

Travel Policy:

  • Renters are NOT ALLOWED to take the rental car outside Malaysia, e.g., Thailand, Singapore, or locations prohibited by and without the company's consent. Contact us for more info.

INSURANCE TERM

All our vehicles are equipped with First Party Motor Insurance (Comprehensive). However, in cases of damages and/or accidents caused by the renter, the renter is still liable to pay, which includes repairs, accessory replacement, loss of NCD for insurance, vehicle downtime due to repair, and any other cost incurred to restore the rental vehicle to its original condition before damages and/or accidents occur. Motor insurance will only be claimed as a last resort (the customer still needs to pay for other costs involved). We highly encourage customers to be alert, follow the traffic rules, and be highly aware of vehicle condition during rentals.

If the customer rented the car with a basic rental price, the customer is liable to pay for damages with an excess of RM10000.00 for all vehicles. For example, John (renter) rented an OKB vehicle and got into an accident; the cost of repair is RM11000.00, and John only pays RM10000.00 to OKB. If the cost of the accident is less than RM10000.00, John only pays whatever amount is needed to repair OKB's rental vehicle to its original condition during car pickup.

If the customer rented the car with full insurance, any damages to the vehicle will be fully covered by OKB, except intentional damages to car accessories and interior, loss of car keys, and traffic fines. The full insurance is void if the customer intentionally conceals or hides any damage done to the car, or fails to inform us of any damage and/or accident which occurred during the rental.

In any case, please do not take matters into your own hands; please inform our team immediately if you get into any accident or cause damage to the rental car. You can take pictures of the vehicle from all angles, including third party vehicle, which clearly show the vehicle plate (VIN), landmarks, and damage on the vehicle. We will assist and advise you on what to do next.

CANCELLATION & REFUND

The security deposit amount varies for each car model and its rental duration. Security Deposit Amount is between Rm100-RM1000*

Refund Policy

  • Refunded in 5 to 10 days from the return date via local or international bank transfer.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancel on public holidays/EARLY RETURNS/LAST MINUTE: NON-REFUNDABLE
  • Cancellations done within 14 days rental date: 50% REFUNDABLE
  • Cancellations done before 14 days rental date: FULLY REFUNDABLE

CAR RENTAL MILEAGE POLICY

1-day rental:

  • 200KM Limit

2-days & above rental:

  • Unlimited Mileage

Surcharge after exceeding mileage cap:

  •  Exceed 200KM/day - pay for another day rental

FUEL USAGE POLICY

1. Fuel Level Requirements

Renters are required to return the car with the same fuel level as it was delivered. Failure to comply will result in an additional fee.

2. Refueling Service

Renters have the option to request a full petrol refill. Charges are based on fuel type, car model, and current petrol prices.

3. Fuel Type

  • Economy/Premium/Luxury: RON95 or RON97
  • Exotic: RON97 or RON100
  • Vans/Starex/Others: Diesel

ACCIDENTS & REPAIRS

Whether it is self or third-party negligence, the renter is responsible for the costs of repair (if the customer did not purchase a full insurance add-on) from any collision or damage done to the rental car, as stated in the contract.

The cost shown below does not include the car's downtime in the car workshop, and replacement parts must be new and original. The damage repair cost varies depending on the car type and model. (Economy - Premium - Luxury - Exotic)

  • Per Head light/Tail light: RM500 - RM10,000
  • Per Window/Side Mirror: RM500 - RM10,000
  • Stone Chips: RM200 - RM10,000
  • Per Panel (driver door, fender, hood, roof, etc) - Knock & Paint: RM300 - RM10,000
  • Per Tyre/Rim: RM200 - RM10,000
  • Per Seat/Dashboard/Interior: RM200 - RM10,000
  • Smoke Odour: RM200.00
  • Missing Touch N’ Go: RM100.00
  • Missing Parking Access Card: RM200.00
